Wow, Moffat really delivered with this one.

I was a little worried at the beginning but by the end everything made sense and was utterly wonderful.

Though argh I had a feeling Moffat would use a cliffhanger! Wasn’t expecting that cliffhanger though!

We are VERY close to getting Y!Gallery back into our hands and away from Asian. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who stuck with the site through this long and difficult time. To those of you who, understandably, left: I’m sorry all this has taken so long but I and the other mods would love it if you put the past year behind us and returned to the site. We are taking steps to ensure that the finance side of stuff is locked to the site rather than the owner so that issues like this don’t arise again.

Here is a copy of Lyiint’s latest Y!gallery news post explaining exactly what is going on:-

“Hello everyone!

We know it’s been a while, and we thank everyone profusely for their patience, but we are currently still working on getting things settled with the site.

We will be making a new Softlayer account and purchasing a new server. The reason for this is because Asiandude does not want anyone able to access any of his personal information on the current account and server, since Softlayer is unable to wipe his information. This is entirely understandable. Once this is done, the site will be switched over from Asiandude to us and he will be officially retired as admin and owner of this site.

However, we do need your help during this transition. For information on what you can do, please see [THIS POST] on our forum. We know from the past that we can count on you guys. We’re a special community here that always comes together when needed.

We’ll be sure to keep everyone updated when things are being switched over in case there’s any downtime.”

A light hearted start to the new series but it definitely bought a smile to my face and made it the best thing to happen in ages. 9/10 from me. (won’t go into detail, don’t want to spoil those in timezones where it hasn’t aired yet)

If you’re having issues accessing the front page try www.y-gallery.net (for some reason it doesn’t seem to work for everyone without the www at the front anymore. We’ve let facs know about this.)

So for now make sure you have the www. at the front of the url (so www.y-gallery.net NOT y-gallery.net) and everything should work fine :)
